one of the head screws went missing after a week and i can't find a replacement anywhere.just waiting for the other one to pop out and then i'm screwed.no pun intended.
mine worked great when new but when I went to use it a year later the torque setting had frozen and I broke a $75 pair of rings over torquing them. you get what you pay for.
The minor calibrations are only in metric while the major calibrations are in both inch-pounds and Newton-Meters. As the inch-pound major settings go by steps of 20, it's not hard to figure half way for 20, 3/4 for 35, etc.Quality and storage case seem good for an inexpensive tool. The range also goes to 240 inch-pounds, not 200 as the title suggests.
Fortunately I discovered the problem before using the wrench or I would have surely stripped out the fasteners. In addition, reproducibility was so poor that I was even unable to make a 'correction' table. Don't waste your money on this product - buy the 'Snap-On' tool. As received, the torque wrench was so badly out of calibration that it was totally useless. The torque settings on the wrench produced torques almost twice as high as the indicated values over the entire torque range. The wrench appears to be a knock-off of the high quality 'Snap-On' wrench which is available on-line for ~$135.
I looked in several places in our town and could only fine wrenches that were 2-3x more expensive. This is a high quality tool and was a good transaction.
